Membership Eligibility

EECU – A Community Credit Union invites you to join our growing family! As a member, you'll be able to save time and money by taking advantage of our full range of affordable financial services. Our field of membership includes people who live, work, worship or attend school in Branch, Calhoun, Eaton, Hillsdale, Ingham, Jackson, Lenawee, Livingston, Monroe, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne Counties, Michigan.

Additionally, anyone who receives a retirement annuity, pension, social security, or similar payment from private or government sources, and lives in or belongs to a retirement organization located in a county named above or in a county contiguous to Jackson County, may belong to EECU. Donors to the American Cancer Society may also become members of the credit union.

Plus, our "Once A Member, Always A Member" policy means you'll have access to our products and services for a lifetime, even if you retire, change jobs or re-locate.

Joining is easy! Simply complete a membership application and include a copy of your government issued picture ID and Social Security Card, along with your opening deposit. EECU membership requires a minimum Savings Account deposit of just $5.00, which is equal to one share in the Credit Union.
